Kevin Powell for Congress

So I'm a little excited about this: Kevin Powell, a writer and activist who you probably know best from the iconic first season of Real World, is running for Congress in Brooklyn. Specifically the 10th CD, if you keep track of that sort of thing. I'll admit that I don't know too much about the incumbent, Edolphus Towns, except for the fact that he's got an unacceptable first name. Either way, I've always loved Powell (I'm a bit embarrassed, though, that I've never read his stuff), so I'm probably going to end up onboard.
